QuietPDF Privacy Policy

This policy explains how QuietPDF handles information when you use the Android application.

PDFs and editing data

QuietPDF processes PDF documents, annotations, inserted images, saved signatures, recent-file information, recovery drafts, and app settings locally on your device. Prodaleet does not operate an account system or server that receives the contents of your documents or edits.

File access, recovery, and exports

QuietPDF accesses a PDF or image only after you select it through the system file picker. Selected PDFs are copied into the app's private storage so they can be edited and reopened. QuietPDF may also create an automatic recovery copy in private app storage to help restore an unsaved document.

Saving, sharing, extracting, or printing a document occurs only when you choose the corresponding action. The resulting document is then provided to the destination, application, storage provider, or print service you select. Prodaleet does not receive these files. Those third parties handle the files according to their own privacy practices.

Advertising

Versions of QuietPDF that enable advertising use Google Mobile Ads to display banner advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device or other identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and app activity to provide, measure, personalize, and protect advertising.

Sharing of information

Prodaleet does not sell your personal information or document contents. Information processed by Google Mobile Ads may be shared with Google and its advertising partners according to applicable settings and their policies. Permissions and network access

QuietPDF uses system file-selection, save, share, and print interfaces when you request those functions. It does not scan unrelated files on your device. Network access may be used to load advertisements and related services; core PDF viewing and editing are designed to work locally.

Data retention and deletion

Local working copies, preferences, saved signatures, and recovery data remain on your device until they are replaced, removed by an available app action, cleared through Android's app settings, or deleted when the application is uninstalled. Files that you save or share outside QuietPDF must be deleted separately from the location or service where you placed them.

Security

QuietPDF keeps its working data in application storage, but no method of electronic storage is guaranteed to be completely secure. Use your device's security features and choose secure destinations when saving or sharing documents, particularly when they contain confidential information.

Children

QuietPDF is a general-audience document utility and is not directed to children.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when QuietPDF's features or service providers change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
