PocketLedger Privacy Policy

Effective August 15, 2026

This policy explains how PocketLedger handles information when you use the Android application.

Financial records stored on your device

Accounts, categories, transactions, budgets, recurring transaction rules, opening balances, notes, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Prodaleet does not operate an account system or server that receives this financial information.

Backups and exports

PocketLedger lets you create backup and CSV files. Exporting happens only when you choose the export action and select a destination. Restoring a backup happens only when you select a backup file. Prodaleet does not receive these files. You are responsible for protecting exported files and for the privacy practices of any storage provider or application you choose when saving or sharing them.

Advertising

PocketLedger may use Google Mobile Ads to display banner advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device or other identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and app activity to provide, measure, personalize, and protect advertising.

Where required, PocketLedger asks for your advertising consent before requesting ads. Available privacy choices can be reviewed from the app’s Settings screen. Availability depends on your region.

Sharing

Prodaleet does not sell your personal or financial information. Information processed by Google Mobile Ads may be shared with Google and its advertising partners according to your choices and their policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Permissions

PocketLedger uses the system file picker when you choose to import, export, back up, or restore data. It does not scan your files. Network access may be used to load advertising and related consent information; the ledger’s core record-keeping features work offline.

Data retention and deletion

Local records remain on your device until you delete them, restore a replacement backup, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the application. PocketLedger provides an option in Settings to delete its financial records. Files you previously exported must be deleted separately from the location where you saved them.

Security

PocketLedger is designed as a personal record-keeping tool. You should use your device’s security features and store exported files in a secure location. No method of electronic storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

PocketLedger is a general-audience personal finance organization tool and is not directed to children.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when PocketLedger’s features or service providers change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
